Keep this to between 250-500 words for best results, though TOP Press Release does not limit length.
Please note that our Mass Media Visibility package has a word limit of 375 words for all fields (headline, subheading, body and boilerplate) before an overage charge (of $89 per 100 words) is applied. This is a fee that PR Newswire imposes and we have to pass this along.
Do not include your dateline here - we will use what you entered in the dateline field. Also, do not include words such as "For immediate release", or repeat the headline or subheading. Be sure to place your media contact information at the end of the release only; not the beginning.
If you are submitting a release that references an ongoing or resolved legal case, please send a copy of the case number and the docket to
csr@theonlinepublishers.com shortly after submitting your release to avoid a delay in your distribution. If your release references the acquisition of a private company, or makes reference to any other private company, we will need written approval of the release by a representative of that company to be forwarded to us at
csr@theonlinepublishers.com. References to public companies are not allowed.
Please note we do not accept releases on certain subjects, companies or topics. Refer to our
Editorial/Submission Guidelines for more details.
Creating Text Links and FormattingIt is simple to create text links in our system for your press release's keywords. First, however, remember that anything that is a straight URL (ie any web address beginning with www. or http://, or any email address written out in full with the @ sign) will automatically link, so there is no need to use this code for those.
To link keywords to a website or web page, however, simply the code below and replace "keyword" with the keywords you want to link, and "www.website.com" with your specific website or page that you wish for the words to link to.
my keywords
To link to an email message that will be sent to a specific address, use this:
email us here
To make your text bold, italicized or underlined, use the code below:

I want this text to be bold

I want this text to be italicized
I want this text to be underlined
Remember, although we do not limit the number of keyword links you may include in your press release, it is recommended that you do not include more than 3 text links or 1 per 100 words.
